We collect personal information that you voluntarily provide to us when you sign up for our newsletter, make a donation, or contact us. B. DONOR POLICY
- Donations will be spent in accordance with the donor’s intent.
- Donors will receive appropriate acknowledgment and recognition for their gift.
- The organization will respect the donor’s requests to remain anonymous.
- Upon request, donors are entitled to receive the organization’s most recent stewardship report and proof of 501(c)3 tax-exempt status.
- Donors will have the opportunity to have their names deleted from mailing and fundraising solicitations. Their opt out request will be honored promptly.
- The organization will respect donors’ privacy by not sharing, selling, or renting names and personal information.

Participatory art in itself often helps people to find unique pathways towards healing. But the Healing in Arts team and Pamela Alderman are artists, not professional therapists or health care providers. Healing in Arts and Pamela Alderman do not provide diagnosis, therapy, counseling, treatment, or mental care services. No promises regarding the outcome of life or relationships are given or implied. All decisions belong to the participant or attendees. Those who visit the Healing in Arts site, attend their events, or interact at their exhibits, to the fullest extent permitted by law, release, indemnify, and hold harmless the Healing in Arts team and Pamela Alderman, from any claims, obligations, demands, damages, judgments, costs, expense or liabilities of any nature, which may have or may ever have against them, arising out of the programs and services provided by the Healing in Arts team and Pamela Alderman, including, without limitation, all liability concerning injury, mental or emotional strain, disability, death, or loss of damage to personal property. Healing in Arts recommends that participants and attendees provide a professional therapist at their art workshops for any needs (including health-or safety-related issues) that may arise with the participants.
